- As of 1 November 2026, there were 226 networking events within 50 miles of Seattle in the next 30 days, the fourth most among 4 major US cities.
- Are online and campus events included?
- Online events are left out, because they have no place. Campus events, mostly student organizations, are included, and each city shows them as their own type.
- What does "Not enough data" mean?
- Netwarming does not yet read enough calendars for that type of event near that city: 10 or fewer within 50 miles. Rather than print a number that would understate it, the page says so, with how many calendars were read and how many could not be. A city is listed only when at least 4 of the five types are covered.
- Why does a type show 0?
- Because the calendars Netwarming read for it list no events in the next 30 days. A 0 is shown only where more than 10 calendars were read, and the note beneath it says how many, so a zero is a measurement, not a gap.
- How are the events counted?
- Counted from every event listed on Netwarming for the 30 days starting on the date shown, within 50 miles of each city's centre, placed by the event's venue, the place it names, or its host's address. Online events are left out, and an event between two nearby cities counts for both. The type is the hosting organization's: general business, industry specific, non-profit, social or campus; faith, employer and unclassified hosts are Other. A city is shown when at least 4 of the five types each have more than 10 calendars within 50 miles that Netwarming read successfully in the last 45 days; a type with 10 or fewer says "Not enough data" rather than a count that would understate it, and every type shows how many calendars it rests on. Cities with fewer than 10 events are not shown. The change compares the same count taken at the previous monthly snapshot.
- How often is this updated?
- Monthly, on the 1st. These counts were taken on 1 November 2026; the next count is on 1 December 2026.
